Crash when Zoneing,cant connect after?

Hi guys Im new to the EQEmu thing so please bare with my ignorance.
I have it installed and have been playing for a day or so.Ive encountered a problem where I was zoneing into Dagnors cauldron and crashed.Now when ever I try to play that character I get disconnected.I made a new character and killed to lvl 4,went to go too north freeport and the exact same thing is now occuring.
Any thoughts on what the problem might be ?

Are you playing on your own server, or someone else's? Sounds like you might not have the zone launcher set properly or something.

I am playing on the PvP server Ralos Zek.

Oh and Im crashing everytime I zone now.Managed to get back on the new character but others still disconnect.Im using Win Vista with 8800 763 mb vid card,4gig ram.

Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is that you are getting the "lag bug" where essentially you are LD due to network issues. Then, when you try to zone, it just hangs and disconnects you completely.
