Server Setup Issues

Regarding the graphics, that fixed the problem--had to set to run it as Windows 98//ME since XP was not available.

Anywho, now with the graphics out of the way, I open the start.bat file, run through the dialogue, the world loads, and I go back to the start window and click enter, then wait for that to load. when it's finished, the server is present in the listing, and I can get to the character select, make a character, but cannot zone in. Any idears?
