Default No Items?

I just got my server up and running and while I was testing it out, I noticed that while everything seemed perfect, I was missing one thing... Items. There are absolutely no items in all of my world. Not even when you first log in at character creation. I'm sure there is a simple solution for this, I just didn't see one present here. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be wonderful.

Thank you,
~ littleogre

When you start the server, you should see the log that will tell you how many items are being loaded or if there are issues. Please check that log and post it if you can. Have you checked your items table to ensure that you sourced everything into it properly? Most likely, you didn't source in all of the database that is needed yet. Also, the max item ID was recently raised from 100k to 120k to allow for newer items from Live. If you are running old server code that doesn't allow for the 100k+ item IDs, it will fail to load any items. Make sure that your database revision matches the version of code you are running from the SVN.

Ok I think this is what you were looking for. I used the PEQ auto installer version so I don't have a clue what I missed. I don't even know where to find my imagetable. So I'm gonna need a little extra help here sorry.

Just click the image to see the larger version.

Thanks again

Well, you definitely have items in your items table, because it is trying to load them. You cut off the error, but my best guess is that you are missing one of the require table changes to the items table you are using for the code you are using. I think the only one that has been changed recently is the augslotvisible one.

For managing your database, try installing and setting up Navicate Lite. It works nicely and makes it really easy to get a quick look at your tables and such.

I don't know what the exact fix is without knowing exactly what revisions of database and code you are on. But, it may be that you just need to run the SQL to change that field name in the items table.

Here is the full error. I downloaded Navicat but I have absolutely no idea how to use it. Basically I downloaded the server pack off of this list, http://www.projecteq.net/downloads.php. Version 0.7.0-1110a. I followed the installation instructions and as I have previously stated the entire thing works minus the items.

I hope this helps...

Problem solved... I fixed it by running the installer again one more time, except this time with the right version of MySQL.
