Default SoF question

Hay guys

Been a long time since i played emulator and wanted to get back into it. I got a SoF game disc 2 weeks ago and having some issues i hope someone can help me with.

Now im not a pc expert so bare with me please.

When i install the game and go to follow the instructions for coping the SoF files. what exactly is the name of the .bat file? and where do i put it in the eq folder?

That step is where i get lost cause when i go to play the game i keep getting errors. So i just need to know the exact name of the file once copied into text and where to place that file. Also while i am asking do i just place it into a folder or have to run it somehow?

Sorry for these questions i been reading up on SoF threads just i am not skilled enough when it comes to PC files to much.

Thanks

If you are just wanting to play, you just need to follow this:

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide

For that, you don't need any .bat files just to play without errors.

If you are wanting to run your own server, then you would need the start.bat file as explained in the server setup guide(s).
