Baclk screen after Server select

Ok, so i dig some mroe digging revazar and I found an old post of your reguarding finding out if port 5998 is being block.
And here is the verdict X.X.X.X isn't responding on port 5998,
Now my only question is how do I unblock it?
I am not in a dorm or an public network. I am at home, but the only other concern is that it is Satellite internet through Hughesnet.
Is there a way to unblock that port or does my ISP need to do this?

On a side note, I did read on an old PEQ forum that if port 5998 was blocked, how would I be able to even get to server sellect. I dont know if the client doesnt use the port prior to server connection attempt or not so I dont now anything here. But Im just trying to tie up the lose ends for possibilities.

Ok, contected my ISP. And they said they do not block any ports and neither does my Modem... hmmmmm what the heck~

So after talking with my ISP I went back to double check port abilities in firewall setting. I have alloed inbound and outbound connections full access on port 5998 to eqgame. Yet it still isnt working..
Does anyone have any clue?

- Display Driver
- Eq version
- client.ini
- Host file
- Firewall
- ISP
- Admin right
- AMD Dule Core hot fix ( Run First and AMDs Program)
- Changed Resolutions
- uninstalled and re installed the game completly
- Tried multiple servers
- Changed access rights to Eq to full admin
I think thats about it, I have been working on this for almost two days now, I dont know what else to do.

If you had this problem before, please post to tell me how you fixed it.
