Default Others can't login to server

Hi there,

Running a server here, rev1751. Using Underfoot client from steam.
I use the Eqemulator public login.

I can login to my server just fine. but when my brother try to connect he get error 1017 and got booted to login page.

He can log to other servers just fine. so do I.

So what is wrong with the server? he appears on the list and I can connect, couldn't all??

Please help, thanks in advance

No, he try to connect from internet.
We are a couple wanting to play eq again, so I built and host the server. But if others can't connect it won't be fun :(

You should look at your port forwarding then.

Posted my eqemu_config.xml.. something is probably wrong here.
A friend told me to try changing this line to my wan adress.

Code:
		<!-- Sets the ip/port for the tcp connections. DO NOT EDIT -->
		<tcp ip="86.198.202.52" port="9000" telnet="disable"/>
So, do I have everything for a public server?? I tested with WAN adress since localhost wasn't working, so I tried both
