Need Help

New to EqEmu just downloaded clean instal from retail SoF CD's im getting into server select screen but when i try to log into a server they are going black and freezing i can get into the hidden forest but when i creat a charecter and try to log into world it crashes. Im trying to play Red1999 im using windows 7 with a dual core amd proccesor. i did the extra steps to play on p99 on gettin started also.

Kurse, for p99 you will need Titanium client. Try to log into lootfest and tell me what happens.

Not sure what im doing wrong but i cant log into any server soon as i hit play eq the screen goes half size black and freezes. SoF client wont work with p99 at all? Its the retail cd's

tried to log into loot fest and this time window closed by myself and said 'Error in your GUI XML files. Check UI errors

Tryinmg to play game threw EqEmu Launcher now and its saying i dont have premmisions in eq directoiry and aborts patching

You have the correct edits in your eqhost file? Also did you correctly create a shortcut to your desktop and add patchme after your target: ?

Make sure to run everything as administrator as well.

Also, I don't have much experience with the SoF file, but I know that the UF steam client and the Titanium clients work really well. Message me if you want me to provide you with information to obtain those clients.
