beginner need a help

hello all , this is my 1st time to use this program.
i have a few problems want to get some help by someone.

1: i cannot pass the character selection page. once i created a char then clicked Enter world. it will force me back to server selection page.

2: i dunno how to use EQemu Admin. should i open it b4 run EQemu or after run EQemu ? is there any Readme that i can learn how to use Admin ? how to set the details in Preferences ?

3: after i used EQemu Admin , my char in char selection page usually will delected.

i can setup all the things but cannot go into the world.


ps: currently using 0.2.2 but 0.2.3 db , Win XP~

you didn't say which client you use -- eqw 2.2 or "eqgame. If you are using eqgame then you must type the extension too --"eqgame.exe patchme".

Finally, don't use the admin tool at all right now. You have enough problems just getting into the game. Get your system going first, then you can learn how to use the tool. It is not needed for anything at the beginning.
