I can't get outsiders to connect to my server

this is what i get with world.exe

anyone have any clues why i might not be able to have people connect to me. I do not have a firewall up, and im not behind a router

Is your server "locked"? This is one of the main mistakes people make. Also, if you are planning on your friends connecting to your server, you need to have them connect with your IP. If this doesn't help, contact me on AIM "bearwilkins12" and I will try and solve it. Hope it helps!

Are they or you on a really slow dialup? If so try tweaking the number in datarate.txt in your eq directory.. lower (5/6ish) for slower modems such as dialup, higher (9 or 10) for cable/high speed.

yeah its not locked, and we both have high speed conecs, im hosting off of a cable conection, and he has it too i think

Do they have your IP adress and do they know where to put it so that they can connect with you?

Im not running minilogin, so i dont think they need the IP, and last time he tried to log in, I got this

yeah, it seems that they can connect to other servers too, just not mine

If it helps any, I tried logging into your server several times and was unable to as well.

As for other suggestions - I'm out of ideas at the moment. Will let ya know if I think of anything else to try.

Still havent been able to get anyone to connect to my server, been bugging the hell out of me, because i have no idea what it might be LoL. I had a few people try to log in once i got Version 4.0 set up and this is what i got

I'm having this same exact problem. 19 people tried to connect when I went to work last night, apparently they say that they get booted at the char select screen w/ no error messages.

I'm having the same problem with the opcode. I can't seem to get other ppl to join. It seems alot of ppl are having this problem, and no one is able to help. so basicly we are screwed with making a server correct?

If anyone happens to know how to fix this problem or someone that had the problem and fixed it give us a heads up please.
