Default please help... I can't get any of this to work.

I am just getting fed up with this crap. Even if this isn't SOE's or Varant's, they still mess it up. Anyways... I am deleting EVERYTHING I have for EQemu's and EQW. And if possible can anyone post up everything I should have downloaded and extracted just in a list of links or just text or even email it to me? email now is Undead_Shadow_Knight@hotmail.com ... Thanks a lot !

Default Which one?

Which read me ! ? LOL. I had like 12 freakin read me's in my EQW directory and it didn't really make any sence to me. I tryed to go to one website where you were supposed to have like an account with or w/e. mysql.com ? I think that's it. I seriously need more help than to be told to read a "read me" file when I have like 12 of them.

The readme on the website. http://www.eqemu.net has a "Readme" link with instructions how to do things.

Here's what I did to get in:

1 : Make a copy of EQ in a new directory named EQEMULATER. The Copy will be what you run EQEmu in. Having the copy will help prevent patching.

2 : In your new EQEMULATER directory, find and open the " eqhost.txt " file. Delete everythign inside and replace it all with this :

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}

This is found at http://www.eqemu.net/documents/readme.html (You DID read the readme, didn't you?)

3 : Get a copy of EQWindows, ( found at EQwindows.com ) and install it.

4 : Run EQWindows. A popup will for EQW will appear, you need to make sure that the "Run Patch Program" and the "Play on Test" ARE NOT turned on. The third choice "Fix eqclient.ini" should be the only one turned on.

5 : Still in the EQWindows popup, click "Browse" by the "executable to launch" selector. You'll need to change it to the "eqgame.exe" in your EQEMULATER directory.

6 : Start EQ with the "Start EQ" button in EQWindows. Remember to use your login and password for EQEmu not for your station account.

Some Commands for ingame:

#help -- should list the commands available to your level of access.
#level <number> -- sets you to the listed level.
#zonestatus -- shows which zones are surrently operating.
#zone <short name> -- this will take you to the zone of your choice.
#setallskill <number> -- Sets all your skills to what ever number you choose.
#search <item name> -- searches for the item number of a given item.
#summonitem <item number> -- loads the item to your curser tip.
#findspell &lt;spell name> -- Finds the effect number for a given spell.
#cast &lt;number> -- casts the given spell. Class doesn't seem to matter. *** NOTE *** Yellat Me has posted on these forums (look for "GM Commands... in the hands of your local village idiot!" ) that excessive use of this command can cause extreme lag and disconnection... try to use sparingly.

I hope that helps you. I'd like to say "It's not that hard", but since it took me 3 tries, I'll keep quiet.

seems like to me someone doesnt like "computer commands" just to play an emulation of everquest which at one time sounded like bull shiz. you know why? well after most people get 1 or 2 chacters lvl 50+ they get alot of spawns on there KoS list for later.... Revenge oh revenge is soooo sweet i just go wack innoruk in plane of hate and my pain is relived from that one time he killed us and had a 2 day corpse run without sleep.
