I couldn't run the eqemu patcher cause it looks for the patchserv.dat file i don't have.
Tried to use the patchme option but now I get a 1017 err when trying to log onto a server.
(tried a few including the greens)
It isn't a firewall problem (i think) or setting problems with the host.
What can i do?
I was really hoping I could play this game.
Please any help would be welcome.

Well check to see if it is...that messes with EQEmu a lot.

I disabled the firewall i had. I said i think cause i don't know if there was one set in another place (now i'm sure there isn't)

Maybe i need to use the eqemu patcher? does anyone have the patchserv.dat file?
do i need to start any app other then eqgame to play this game online? if so maybe thats the problem.
