Default wtf?

ok, i finally got my local server on my own computer running last night and had a blast running it all and everything. i get home today to get back on it and wtf, i cant find anything. mysql is not connected. i have a red light and no databases loaded. from what i can see no files are missing or anything it is kinda wierd like a path is set wrong or something. i am not sure what info would be needed to post here and dont want to make a big cluttered post of useless information so if someone could please be kind enough to help me out and feel free to ask me for anyfile to assist in helping me figure this stuff out. thanks in advance

Default try this....

Right click the icon in tray, should bring up menu, select Win NT, another menu, select Start the Service.
Should go to green light and MiSql should now be running.

Default didnt work

i tried as you said and it gave me a failed msg. i looked in the err tab and it has the following in it:

030331 3:52:23 MySql: Shutdown Complete

030331 3:52:22 MySql: Normal shutdown
http://www.innodb.com/ibman.html
the InnoDB startup options listed in section 2 at
But to get good performance you should adjust for your hardware
innodb_data_file_path = ibdata1:10M:autoextend
section, for example,
or my.ini. If you want to use InnoDB tables, add to the [mysqld]
to the [mysqld] section of init parameters in your my.cnf
skip-innodb
If you do not want to use transactional InnoDB tables, add a line
Cannot initialize InnoDB as 'innodb_data_file_path' is not set.
MySql: ready for connections

thought maybe this would help. thank you again for any assistance
