Default Plane of Fire beta

I thought i would make this contribution.... Couldnt have done it without drawdes awesome eqnpc proggie. And thanks drawde for inspiring me with your awesome databases...

You will need fairly recent binaries and db.sql for this to work...

I would suggest binaries drawde uses and the db.sql i included in zip file.

Hmmmm download from herer for now, wont upload it yet..

This is awesome. This is EXACTLY the kind of contributions EQEMU needs.

Folks taking it on their own to adapt, addto, and modify, then making it available for others to build on, improve , etc.

Hats off to you Arm, as someone who's never seen POF on live, I look forward to checking it out.

Hopefully more people will step up to the plate and try to make more contributions like this. Drawde shouldnt be the only one pushing out database updates!

Looks really nice, though it's missing some named. I'll work on adding them in and cleaning it up so there aren't so many of one npc in the zone if you'd like. I have a good bit of experience with Fire and know most of the spawnpoints for the named, other than Reparm and Yozanni, as I've never pulled them.

Thanks for the nice comments, of course anyone is welcome to add to it or modify it in any way that pleases them.

Since a couple people asked i thought id mention a thing or two...

You can use a cetain program thats opensource to take snapshots of names, levels and xyz coords in any zone....

I then modified the source to output the format to something that was close to what drawdes npc program could handle. Fill in the blanks with excel..... boom fully populated zone mostly.

Yes i still had to go in and fill out alot of stuff so its not magic but it helps alot.

Anyone with questions can email me at rlh989@hotmail.com

This is on the mark, except that a few problems arise. Something cuts off the last digit for monster race for 95% of the monsters in this... It could be manually fixed... But something's up.

You need newer binaries then, that has been fixed recently, I think it was in 4.4dr1 at some point. Mobs display properly with the new cvs for example.

I'm running 44dr1... Isn't that as up to date as it is at the moment?

Heh, i was about to post a topic on this. I am getting the same problem with the last Race digit getting cut off for my spawns. I am pretty sure this happened before i used the Pofirebeta db, but i am not 100% sure. Using FQAdmin 4.6 mysql shows that the full digits are there, however when getting in game they are missing when #npcstats is used on the NPC.

Looks good, I haven't checked it out but I noticed the itemid's are relatively close to each other.

Really should use the real item ID's.
