Default Packet Collecting

is it possible to packet collect someones DB and use it for your own server? If so how hard would it be? And is their anything in the future we could impliment to stop it (actually I guess not if even sony can't do it )

Technically, you can do anything. Nobody will do it, so don't worry. It's not valuable enough.

Ability of the getting the packet collector to work on an emu server aside...

Summoning 31000 item numbers is a bit tiresome, Although I guess they could try using macroquest...


But why bother unles they are custom items. Most items are in the database, and the info for many more are on lucy. And the lucy and magelo item data is gathered perodicly and publicly released.
