Cannot get into Servers.

Whenever I attempt to connect to a server, the same message continues to pop up:

Error 1017: Cannot login to the Everquest server
You may need to re-run the update Patch. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates loss of connectivity to the patch server. This is usually temporary.

I have tried going into the Everquest game, but it doesn't fix anything. I think I might have a clue though. Before when I used to play Everquest, I had Ruins of Kunark and Shadows of Luclin installed, but I deleted them awhile ago. I just recently installed the original Everquest. Maybe it thinks I still have them, but cannot locate them. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you using the EQEmu patcher?

Another thing though, whenever I start it up it's not full screen. Anyone know how to make it full screen?
