Problem with Everquest

I was trying to patch my everquest.exe to the latest patch and a problem with Everquest.exe happens and closes it out....I run on windows xp

1) You do know EQEmu doesnt work with the latest patch right?
2) Did you buy EQ or did you get it from a friend or did you download it for free?
3) go to http://everquestlive.com for help. your problem is not with EQEmu.
