Default Admin help...

I am able to start my own server and make it appear on the list, and to log onto it, but the problem is, how do I get ServerOp status? I used the Admin program and made a character level 60 with ServerOp status and applied the changes, but when I log on, my character that I designed in the Admin program isn't there! Anyone know why this is and how I can fix this?

Everything is set to eqemu/eqemu. My login.ini file is set to Account: eqemu Password: eqemu
Then I logon using that same information, access my server and nothing. My character still isn't there. Anyone know why?

When you login with eqemu/eqemu, you still have to go through and create a new character...

The eqemu is the LOGIN id/password, it has nothing to do with your characters. (well, the id matches against a set of characters, but thats it)

And I wouldnt recommend trying to make a character under an account from scratch in the admin, make one from the character select screen, then go back in later with the admin tool later to alter him if you really want. Most likely, you created a character thats not linked to the eqemu id.

You dont need to create an ADMIN character in the admin tool, you create the ADMIN logon, then all characters created underneath it will be ServerOps once you login with eqemu/eqemu
