Here's a strange problem which I havn't seen at all addressed on these boards (well, up through page 28 anyway). I just setup EQEmu for the first time last night and the game runs perfect except for one little thing...it displays no text.
Now, it still shows up all the built in art and what not (like the background images in the starting menu) but any foreground text isn't displayed. Erm, I'll try and give you guys an example.
When starting up the game it normally displays the EULA message in a big brown box, but in my case it just shows the big brown box with no text inside. It also doesn't display any of the menu names (instead just the image of the box the text goes in), any of the servers (but lets me select where they would be), and when I try to login to my account it doesn't display any of the text I type. I havn't tried joining any servers yet to see if text will get displayed in the game, but I'm thinking about trying that soon, though it's hard to join a server when you can't even see which ones are available :P.
I'm thinking it might be because I'm running Everquest Trilogy?
