Default My login and password is the same as here right? error0016

Can anyone help me? I am supposed to use the same loging and password correct? I do that and it says it is ivalid...arg! All these downloads and I can't get in! Help!

user name : Fletch (maybe case sense, im lazy to check it out)
password : whatever you use to enter in this forum. (maybe case sense also)

Yeah, I tried it, several times. Still no luck. Weird. I've gotten in before but not anymore....alas

Error 0016: The station name or password were invalid. Please check and try again. Note the password is case-sensitive.

Poor English, but that is what is says. I don't get it...

that is NOT the error EQEMU gives that Station name means your connecting to live. check to make sure your EQ Host is chamged.

That is what is was. Weird, I changed it but it didn't take. Now I'm freezing up after creating a character and trying to enter but at least I can login in now--Thx!

Make sure you start with the "eqgame patchme" command.

If you change eqhost.txt and start EQ with Everquest.exe, the patcher will replace the edited eqhost.txt and use the server settings in that file.
