I got my client setup and I can play on other peoples servers. Yeah! great, except the servers get locked a lot. So I decdided to LAN my own server. I got the minilogin server setup, setup the db and populated it with db.sql. Here is where things start going awry. So if I just startup the world.exe I get this error about no items database. I read the forums and downloaded MWnpcdb_050_default0_2.ace.

Now when I started to source this in I got lots of errors about duplicate entries and other random stuff. So I dropped the eq db, and just sourced it from MWnpcdb_050_default0_2.ace. I didn't get any errors from that. So I start world.exe and STILL get the error about the items database. Not only that, but zone.exe seems to take an insanely long time to startup... which leads me to believe the database isn't right. Apparently I am a moron, but I cannot figure out the correct mojo to get this to work. I did actually have the server up yesterday with errors and was able to connect, create a character and zone into a box with coordinates on the walls.

I just need some 'hey fool do this' kinda lovin. Thanks

Download this, extract it to mysql\bin and source it in (on top of the MWnpcmovdb)

That DB you are using is very old. Look through the world buiding section and you will find a newer DB from TCS
