Useing perl?

I was wondering. I feel nebish for asking this but I did a search and didnt find anything about it. When I start useing perl for my quests. does perl have to be installed on all pcs running zones or does it just need to be on the one running world or how do I need to setup it?

I have 3 pcs

pc 1 db sever
pc 2 world and a few zones
pc 3 rest of my zones

Each machine running a zone that uses perl quests needs to have access to a perl interpreter, its modules, its libraries, and everything else needed to run perl.
