Default Strange zoning issue i can't seem to fix.

I'm running a lan in my home. I've got my connections working perfectly and can login. The problem I'm having is with zoning. It looks to me from the world.exe file, that when I zone I rejoin with world.exe and it does not know which zone I should be sent to. Please see below snippit of my world file at zone time. Mind you I've already logged into a zone when starting and was able to #zone out.

[Begin zone out snippet]

806319 New client from ip: ***.***.***.*** port 1057
Logged in: Local: mpugh
[Error] Zone not found in database zone_id=0, moving char to arena character:Levien
Zoneserver SetZone: ***.***.***.***:7999 (0)
Zoneserver SetZone: ***.***.***.***:7999 (0)
Zoneserver SetZone: ***.***.***.***:7995 (0)
Zoneserver SetZone: ***.***.***.***:7995 (0)
Client disconnected

[End zoneout snippet]

Ok now the really crazy part. My wife joins in with my game and we are both in Gfaydark. I #zone to kael. She does so right behind me. I have the client hang and she zones perfectly. If she zones first using the same method above she hangs and I zone. Anyone got a clue as to what is causing this issue?

All your zone server ports should be unique, that can cause a problem. Looks to me like your only using 2 for 4 zones

Nope. My Boot5zones bat has a different port for each instance listed. It looks like this

[Begin Boot5zones.bat snippet]

if NOT exist spells_us.txt goto NOSPELL

start zone . ***.***.***.*** 7995 ***.***.***.***
start zone . ***.***.***.*** 7996 ***.***.***.***
start zone . ***.***.***.*** 7997 ***.***.***.***
start zone . ***.***.***.*** 7998 ***.***.***.***
start zone . ***.***.***.*** 7999 l***.***.***.***
exit
cls

[End Boot5zones.bat snippet]

I originally thought that might be the issue but my setup looks right. I even changed my ip's in this file to Localhost since everything is running on the same box. But no dice.

I had to remove all the cfg files to get around this issue, this may not relate to your problem though.

Interesting side note I just remembered from my 1am testing fit last night. I was able to successfully #zone into Umbral Plains without the client crashing. The World.Exe file said this

[Begin World.Exe Snippet]

Logged in: Local: mpugh
Zoneserver SetZone: ***.***.***.***:7999 (164)

[End World.Exe Snippet]

I don't remember the exact line since I'm at work but the error message did not show and the zone ID was in the last line above. Could it be something in my database? I'm using MW_052_053_Alpha2.

Molly,

I took your advise about the /CFG folder, along with another idea I had about opening some lower ports on my router that it looked like world was using to handle user login data and i had little to no issues zoning last night. Thanks for the help. Now its time to work on fixing/upgrading my database....
