Damagin my "real" EQ with Eqemu ?

Is there any risk that just playing in an Eqemu server i could crash any stuff for my regular EQ server ?

I read stuff about patcher that might not do good work, but duno more atm.

back up the entire EQ folder, 1 for live 1 for EQEMU, then NEVER patch the EQEmu copy untill told to do so.
