Shawn, did they run out of batteries ?

Newest thing we can get afaik is your snapshot, dated march 12 as of today :/

There has been no update to CVS for 4 weeks. Also i can read of dr1, rc1, rc2 ... while NewSource says 0.5.5DR1 (version.h) and 0.5.3+ changelog
Could it be Trump forgot to tell the password ?

No pushing intended anyway, just wondering what's the point, and what are the plan's. Keep on good work.

Was about to ask the same question.

With Trump gone, who will make the public CVS "releases"?

(I'd volunteer to do it )

That will help a lot world builders and server ops. Thanks for quick reply.

In regards to developpment, ... it's the source that matters.
i could find the NewSource.rar at the same place, ... after i logged to irc.

Source, and especially diffs, are really helpfull to work on the code. Do you think someone could admin or host a CVS, as Mongrel suggested ?

I prefer snippetts with surrounding code. The source changes so quickly diffs and line number references can become useless fast. But that's just me.

Exactly ! it's not just you, everyone does prefer snippetts.

That's why diff allows -U num (default 3) to select number of context lines. Diff also supports a huge number of display formats, and can be patched. Kathgar specified -uUb as a 'rule' for EQEMu posts.

And also that's why CVS is more convenient than snapshot, as each single version is tracked. So you can get diffs over last change, or over last and previous, ... You can make a snapshot out of CVS, but not CVS from snapshot.

Oh well, nm, it's just tools ... won't change what is in EQEMu.
