Default Most recent EQ patch, a big no no?

One of the most recent Eq patches included direct x 9 and a change to a lot of mod els... if i update my EQ now to go check out the new mod els will i have problems running EQEmu at all? In other words.. update EQ to take a looksy.. Yea or Nea

You should be able to patch and still play the emu with no problems... If you're concerned, just make a backup of your emu folder and then you'll have nothing to worry about

After I updated to Live though alot of the mobs appear to be swimming after I spawn them on my server, this must require a certain condition though cause it doesn't happen to all of them.
