Server Hacker Alert
Had a Hacker join my server today PID was Lexen1 BE WARRNED all as a result of it im takeing down EQEMU PvP Norrath Live there is no point to have a server up for people if all people want to do is destory it not goin to waste my money or my compter space to let someone destroy somethin I have worked hard for to give to the communitiy if things like this keep happening to people thay wont want to keep there servers up eather so im hopeing the devs start seein whats goin on and try to take some action
anyways would like to thank everyone that play on Norrath live hehe was alot of fun why it lasted cyas all laters

Laff all u want I got a screen shot of it and its Lexen1 and that is the name he was goin by in my server so if he is a hack let him be forever banned and good ridance :!:

you should use another excuse to take the server down...Screenshot can't tell anything,all people can modify it.What lexen1 was exactly doing? |

on that server i seen flag and changepass was set to 0 ... who knows how many other commands was set to 0 i didnt search thru them all in the 5 total minutes i spent there... in those few mins i was there i seen you say in OOC that you didnt know why world exe kept crashing
i know with my server some accounts would somehow get currupted and as soon as those people would try to log in to the server world exe would crash and it would keep doing it till the account that was crashing the world was deleted from the database
im sure if someone really want to hack you they would do alot more then just shut your server off
and to make a post nameing someone calling them a hacker and showing no "proof" of such is pretty childish and makes me wonder if you should really be running a server

Good points MrJag. IMHO, anyone who doesn't go through and make sure their addon.ini is up to par and leaves commands like that open to all are just asking for problems. Makes ya wonder what worldshutdown was set to... :P
EDIT: On another note, if #setpass was available to anyone, it probably wasn't Richardo that was "hacking" your server anyways.. It could have been anyone with a clue of how to use the commands that were carelessly left open to them in order to screw with your system.

As for the world.exe crashing i fixed that before all this it was a prob in the database cuzing it as for the other one the GOD DAMN PID was lexen1 wheather u belive me or not i really dont give a shit im just warrning everyone out there about this if you dont like i could care less other then that eather take it as a warrning to whats goin on or STFU thanks have a nice day
EDIT: Also worldshutdown is set to 200 flag i changed before all this is set to 250 and the only commands avilable is setallskill scribespells and a few others

He was on my server too, PID was Lexen2. However he asked if he could try. Told me he was the owner of the LOTR server (prolly a lie) but he was able to flag himself 255.

I've had PID's Lexen, Lexen1, and Lexen2 on my server - No problems so far.

Isn't lexen that really hard to break plastic they use for racecar windsheilds? or is that lexan... or maybe hmm.. well anyway i like the stuff its hard to break, and hard to scratch, i wish i had some right now.........
