Default Feature request - configurable multiple thread pathing?

Would it be possible to add mutiple threads for the pathing and make it a configurable setting in either the variables or the add-ons?
With the current system , as I understand it , 1st in 1st out makes for skimpy movement after initial zone boot and waypoints have been run , you have 1 npc moving.
The reason I asked for it to be configurable is so that people with bigger machines , or separate machines running zones could assign more threads for more movement , and people with fewer resources could assign less.
It just seems to me that we need to have more than one npc moving in a zone.
