Localhost testing

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question.

Can I run EQEmu on localhost as where I live (not the server room where I intend to host) I have no internet connection. I am trying to test EQ Trilogy with EQEmu but I have very little documentation.

Can I test with localhost as from what I've seen so far doesn't it have to go off to a registration server ?
