Did most recent verant patch breake EQW?

I tried to log in to EQ using eqw today, getting the recent patch to play on eqemu servers running v3.3.1 Anyway, eqw loads but I cant type anything, EQW responds to none of the keys. Im not sure what this is, but a friend of mine is having the same problem so I dont think it is an issue with my PC
