Anyone have a fix for widescreen?

I have a widescreen monitor I run at 1920X1200 resolution, but if I attempt to load EQ with my default resolution set like that, EQ crashes before it even loads. I have to change my default resolution to 1600x1200 every time I want to play. Anyone have a fix for this?
