Gravrod,

When you fire up your client the server listing displays the currrent server population. If you're looking for a server with a substantial player base just check the player count a few times a day to get a feel for which servers.... have players

From what I can tell there are only a very few servers that can break 100 players at peak times.

You may also find some servers have a website with forums, you'll have to look for those.
