Default General Connectivity Issue...

Hmmm... I honestly don't know if this is even something that can be helped, but its REALLY annoying. I did not start having this problem untill the most recent version of the Emu (3.3.1) came out. I don't run a server... my problem is that once the "server people" started using the most recent version, it became extremely difficult if not impossible to connect/stay connected. First, half the time only half the severs would show up on the server select screen, and it would require me to log out and back in once or twice to see them all. That seems to be fixed now, but the other problems remain. A lot of times it will just crash to the desktop after selecting a char (and yes I do have the right patch currently, I have a seperate EqEmu folder). Even when I do make it onto the server, I spawn in and instantly start going LD untill the lag bar reaches 100 and I get the disconnect message. Occasionaly, after having given up for a day or two, I'll log in and it will be fine for an hour or two, and then I'll start getting these problems again, and I'll get one or the other EVERY TIME it try to log in, causing me to eventually give up again. I don't think this is just me... my friend had the same troubles from his house. And I can play Live just fine. I've tried adjusting DataRate, no effect. Is this just a problem with this version of the Emu? I have noticed a great many of the old big popular servers (such as Eros, though I've never played there) never came back after 3.3.1 came out. Anything I can do, or must I wait for 3.4? *sighs*
