Much like the Vaskre person that ran the very same poll, talking about the ETA is getting annoying. Don't you realize how that could be pissing the developers off?
If you got pissed off / annoyed at the constant I,ME,MY sentiments in this forum.. would you rush faster to help those people out? NO! you most certainly would not. If anything you would take your time even more.
How about this, EqEmu (while being a very phenomenal progress in emu development efforts) is just a piece of software that allows EqLive addicts / followers to play everquest... not a lifestone that you must keep with you always to live a healthier life. The developers created EqEmu for themselves, and were completely nice enough to let us mess with it and share the experience. The more people run stupid polls (claiming that their just doing it for 'fun') the more I'd think the developers are willing to wait to release the emu. After all, the EqEmu Dev team has said themselves, several times, do NOT request files or information on the next release of ANYTHING! This is selfish, and could only earn you a kick in the ass, and no 0.3.4 EqEmu.
Anyone else want to be an annoying little leech and run a poll on the ETA of the probable next release of EqEmu? First do this before you do.. go to
www.google.com , type in "EthernalQuest"..
then go to the most relevant site dedicated to that project. Join a forum there, and POLL AWAY!! Meanwhile, all the EqEmu dev testers and followers look forward to the next release, but substitute time in between releases with some conversation about development (either worldbuilding or quest scripting), fully knowing that patience will yield a much sweeter fruit than impatience, which can at times yield a forum ban.
