Game Crashing
The application, C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 04/28/2009 @ 18:09:09.093 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 1000F0CE (EQGraphicsDX9)
I started up fresh tonight having never played emu before. I followed the instructions under the Player page. I created a level 1 Enchanter, killed a few rodents talked to some people and zoned to Nektulos Forest.
Upon zoning into Nektulos Forest all I saw around me was the color grey and in one direction I could see Guards falling in a repeating fashion. Someone suggested renaming my Nektulos.eqg to .old and restart the game. After doing this and restarting I get the above error everytime I try to launch the game.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps.
1) Rebooted.
2) Tried OptionsEditor.exe thinking it may be a video setting.
3) Tried a "Repair" using add/remove programs.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
