I had the same problem. I think the mini login isn't designed for external IPs. Or it can't be used internally and externally at the same time. I have heard stories of people getting the mini-login to work with external IPs, but then internal connections get repatch errors. So I guess it's either one or the other, Haven't tested it though. For now I've just been working internally (waiting for the full version Login/chat to come out)
