Stuck On Character Selection Screen

If this question has been asked and answered, I apologize.

I started playing again a few days ago for the first time in 15 years and now I can't even login anymore. I get stuck on character selection screen, I can't enter world, create character, switch characters or even quit out of the game. The screen isn't froze, my character is displaying movements but no button I click on screen is being registered after 15-20 minutes of waiting I can't even exit the screen, I have to close everquest through task manager.

Any help or input is appreciated!
