Default Project Atlantis

Hi there.

I loved playing EQLive. I made friends, and had fun. Then I discovered EQEmu. I fell instantly in love. I enjoyed the almost anarchy of it, (the part of it being free also helped too... :P

But i came to realize, I also enjoyed exploring and being able to do anything. But being God grew old after the first few days.

So I thought to myself, "How can I combine both of these expieriences?"

Then it came to me!

Creating and operating a unique, legitimate server! Unique database, unique spells...maybe even a storyline!

But theres a problem...

I'm not much of a technical person. Sure, I can follow a read-me, and even poke around with some of the more advanced features...

But I can't do it alone...

Thats when I came up with the idea of Project Atlantis

In keeping with the "open source spirit" of EQEmu, I'd welcome anykind of help. Either with ideas, suggestions, to actual tinkering around with the guts of the database with MySql, etc. etc.

So, if your interested, respond to this post, and/or send me an email to the project's e-mail address, eqemu_project_atlantis@hotmail.com, and lets see what happens
