Please, help

Ok, since the problem has gotten flooded off the attention span, gonna give as much info as possible. I do exactly what the readme says to do. I installed all of the EQ files, patched to the newest version of everquest, downloaded all the newest files, including the newest version of EQemu, put them into my everquest directory, unzipped them, and changed the eqhost.txt file

In terms of outside of the eqemu, I did nothing more than downloading and unzipping the files.

Now, when I log on, I can log into the server select screen, but when I select a server (I don't have my own, i just go onto someone else's), it goes black as it used to, but then it says that I need to re-run the patch. I've re-run the eqemu patcher, but it says that everything's fine, and I still get the same problem.

Any solutions? I'm a noob to the file editing and stuff, any help would be greatly appreciated
