my-ODBC

running winxp pro
defult install of mySQL ( from the link provided in the readme )
when loading WinMySQLadmin.exe
Environment tab
under My ODBC
NOT FOUND
DRIVER 3.51 Not Found.

being very ( very ) new to MySQL
so the next phrase will be in lamer trems.
WTF does this mean. it can't be good.

due to the fact that i have no idea what ODBC means my quest is rather simple in my eyes but could take a very long time to explain
