Default Newbie General Question - Thanks in advance!

Hi EQemu peoples. I'm very green to the concepts of EQEmu and just have a couple questions.

I played EQ for 3 years but have quit (well, can we really ever quit?), but there was still a lot of zones and mobs that I never got to see up close. And even though I raided in many of the high end zones, with monkeys doing all the pulling there's a lot I never did get to check out for myself.

I'd love to fire up a local instance of EQ, make myself invincable and just run around and check out a lot of areas and mobs I never got to see. Is that easily possible with EQEmu, or does it require a lot of work? From what I gather I can run my own server, but I'm unsure of how many zones at a time I can realistically serve myself. Or, can I even run the EQ Client on the same PC I use to serve those zones?

Secondly, and not as important... It would be cool to actually run around and solo some of the big baddies that I usally had my face pressed into a wall for on big raids (I played a shaman).

Doing some of this stuff would really help me *end* EQ... is it possible?

Thanks for your help.

cheers,

Mullzy
