Over loot ?!?

I can place mobs and, beacause of the help i have gotten on this forrum, I have loot working... BUT I give the mob some chump change and then and one item.. but when i loot the mob he has a full inventory of that one item.. therefore dropping like 30 of the same item at the same time... Any help on this ?
