EQemu

Hi there, im new with eqemu, my friend has it and told me to get it, so i did. Anyway, can anyone tell me what the difference between EQemu and normal EQ is, i've been playing normal EQ for a year or two now, is it single player or..i know these are stupid questions, but i'm really clueless to eqemu
