Help With New Quest Please!

Ok, i plan on making my own custom quest (duh). It's a simple newbie quest ill list out some things i'll need help on.

-Changing where the newbie spawns (default town)-
-Letting the newbie spawn with his\her class specific letter and food-
-Having a simple quest set up like this
<pc> Hail
<npc> *text*
<pc> my class is *text*
<npc> hand in *text*
Pc receives *items* and *experience*

Please note the quest is multi-class (all classes can do it), yet the items are class specific. Also the npc will be a custom non-pre-existing unit. I haven't found a guide on chaning player spawn or using quests with custom mobs (not sure if quest tutorials are pre-mod and new mod friendly) for the newbie quest itself i might be able to figure it out just need to know how it works with customs.
