Default Servers? Where?

I just recently discovered everquestserver.com. I think this is great. I had tryed the Emulater from Hackersquest a little over a year ago, Ethernalquest I believe its called. I didnt have much lukc or fun with it. That was pre luclin. I hear people have their own Emu servers. I would verymuch like to start my own for my own group of friends I have in the Army but all play on different EQ servers. I have 3 accounts on the Mith Marr server. If someone with a lot of patients who can explain to me where I can get EQemu, install it, and get it running, would email me so we can start a dialog to get me up to speed I would be very gratefull. Also, where are these player made servers? How can I log on to them and play around? Id really like to tinker around and see what its like to have some GM abilities before I dive head deep into this and find out I dont like it. If anyone would help a lost lil nooby out that would be so great. THankyou.
