Help me out

Hey all,
sorry but I am new to this whole EQEmu stuff. I'm in the army and ain't played EQ since I had to leave for OIF. Now I want to get back into it and EQEmu was recommended to me. What do I do from here? What programs do I need, ect? I hate to be a bumbling newbie but I really have no idea what I'm doing. Bullets are more my speciality

Anyways if someone can tell me what I need to do to get started that'd be really cool of ya.
