1017 (So close to having it fixed)

What is version of your everquest client ?
Are you sure you have the right version for 0.6.0 ?

same problem here...

jist of it: run minilogon, world, boot5blabla.bat, login successful. see my (singleplayer/lan-only) server available, try to logon but hangs and gives me the 1017.

the irony is that I have been able to log into 1 legit world just fine without any errors, so i'm 99.9% this isn't a problem with the 5/11 live patch. Could be wrong, had to do several system restores, reinstall eq:evo, and copy select portions of an EQlive install.

I'd be interested in knowing what problems a broken or incomplete database can cause as well...

oops sorry. i didn't include that because when i used a different version, i had bad opcodes out the wazoo so didn't think it was relevant. the client is dated 5-9-05. i first started exploring eqemu on (oddly enough) 5-11 before playing that night so i copied it over to another drive. i'm also able to logon to eqemulators servers with it.

at the beginning of the readme for minilogin 6.1 says it was made for the 6.1 emulator. I've only been able to find 6.0 on sourceforge. even tried google searches. but the only one that looked relevant took me to an incomplete page: http://www.eqemulator.net/databases_v6.php - well there was one 6.1 but it was perl and i just took a mad crash 2 week course in sql. it isn't real easy but i have learned a lot.

no disrespect by any means but i already tried those 1017 searches and then some. even various google searches. i posted here because i'm at my wits end hehe.

For 0.6.0 eqemu version you need before 11/15/2004 client version.
for 0.6.1 eqemu version you need before 5/9/2005 client version (don't work with 0.6.0 dr2 or more old).

That not easy :(
Hoping live compatibility come another time for clear that

Anyways, seems to clear up why I have been locked out of my own private, solo server. Hope the new version lets me play.

there is a compiled 6.1 on the forums, search it up sometime.
