ok thanks. i'll give that a shot. i thought the map files were just for zoning points which i can deal with. and it is a LOS issue. i don't even have LOS on myself lol. i can buff myself but can't use any damaging spells on myself.

thanks again

so i save these files in my eqemu\maps folder? any special config?

I just downloaded them from sourceforge and unpacked them into the maps folder

Adding the maps to the map directory is what solved that problem for me. Took a few days to figure it out. happened to be watching the world.exe window one day and saw it say that I .map file was missing. went searching and found on sourceforge a 308mb file to add to the maps directory. That fixed my LOS problem, but I still get the occasional error saying that a .path file is missing not sure what they are or how to find them thou stilllooking for them.

I dont have any .map files at all. I cant seem to locate them on sorceforge with any search... could one of you please post the exact path or url please.

just go to the homepage here and on the left hand side click on files .

ok before i go any further, im having this problem (i was hoping .map files would cure) i can see my target, i can click on my target, target is recognized in my targeting window, i cast an attack spell or a healing spell and i get this error

I dont know that target type:255 Spell: (15) Greater Healing
SOT:You must have a target for this spell.

i cast an attack spell and get this error

looks like the wrong spells_us.txt and spells_en.txt in your EQ or Emu folder , not sure though .
