How do you check if world.exe is connected to loginserver?

EDIT: nevermind yes it says it is connected.

And the server name was Elfan if you seen that on the 5998.

EDIT: nevermind again i got it to show up now Thanks a bunch.

EDIT: Ok problems again : P i try to enter the server and all i get is the black screen B4 you get the picture (the wolf, or the Don one or GoD thing) is that a common thing or is me being completly new to hosting my own server just making simple things be really hard?

EDIT: O no its the 1017 error uh o ive seen this one all around too well ima try some things hopei can get this to work : )

Oh just found an error in world.exe hmm

"zoneserver setconnectinfo: 192.168.1.100:1164: 4.7.247.16:799" (has that 4 times from 1165- 116
"209.165.244.252L5994: TCPconnection: :recvData(): Error: 10054"
"connection to loginserver: eqemulator.netL5994"

ok this is wierd sometimes when i try to enter my server it had that 1017 error measage and sometimes it dont whats up with that.

See what happens when you put the external IP on both sides of the port number in your boot5zones.bat file.

And sometimes if you just booted up your server yo uwill get a 1017 at first, trying again will fix it

*edit*

ohhh also:

eqemulator.netL5994"

there is an L there not a : try that first!
