That all looks right to me, just make sure you have a compatible client, either the pre 9/13/05 patch from live or a fresh unpatched Titanium install. ( Titanium install or 9/13 patch if you are using 0.7.0, Pre 9/13 only if you are using 0.6.2-0.6.6 )

We think we managed to sort it out. We're quite convinced that it's our clients that are the problem.

What i meant about my buddy who could connect, was that he had contact with the login server, but i do believe that we were not able to get past the "Loading, please wait..." part because we're using rather old clients. So we're trying to get a hold of the titanium clients now, to test with them.


Do you know if we can just patch everything to the max, and that will work? or does it have to be a clean EQ Titanium install, unpatched?

It must be the clean Titanium unpatched. You can purchase titanium for around $20. Not too bad

we've already put down enough money in everquest as it is :P

I played for 5 years, where the last year of those was with 3 active accounts with all expansions... not spending another dime on EverQuest, except i might try it again when the official "Progression server" opens for real

But, buy titanium is the only legal clue you must find.
