Ok well i'm gonna run and grab titanium then and see what i can do. My eq folder do not contain any of the _chr.s3d files so seeing it installs them. i'll see what i can try with titanium install and pulling those files into my eq directory now. Might not work but worth a shot. Worst case i have a much cleaner install of eq to play on eqemu server when i mess up my computer and need to reinstall.

Well i found the fix for God zones. Good thing nothing gets deleted from the forums cause i found the fix in a post back to 2004 heh.

Goto your eqclient.ini and add Add the line HardwareTNL=False to your eqclient.ini file somewhere under [Defaults]. This should fix the grey model issue.

i found that info also and tryed it for this problem and it didn't work for this particular issue. Thie issue only effect God zones but the rest were fine. The black npc in zones is a corrupt rendereffects file. so your sticky was the same as the other problem that i mentioned above. that others have posted on here about and thought this to be the same but its not.
